Seductive: Woman’s Hour – Darkest Place

“Still for the first second of every day, I don’t understand why you’re not around”

Smooth, adulterous and permeating. Just three words to describe London’s latest synth phenomenon Woman’s Hour.

This quartet have released their latest piece of magic ‘Darkest Place’, which is conjuring a new dimension of atmospheric music across online air waves.

A mash of MS MR and The xx comes to mind with the initial soft grooves and the dulcet tones of vocalist Fiona Jane however their rhythm is hastily plunged into a heavier realm of moody yet enthralling electro textures. There is something overly inviting about  the haunting sounds relayed in ‘Darkest Place’ which has left Woman’s Hour with yet another irresistible composition.
