Incomprehensible: James Vincent McMorrow releases new track ‘Cavalier’

“I remember my first love”

James-Vincent-McMorrow-

You know an artist is genuinely brilliant when you are still listening repeatedly to the track they released two years ago. Yeah I am talking about you James Vincent McMorrow. And well today he has only gone and done it again.

This sentimental Irish singer has produced something as flawless as his debut cover of Steve Winwood‘s  ‘Higher Love’ with a completely different twist to his usual music production.

He has removed his acoustic sensitivity and come back with stealth in his new release ‘Cavalier’.

With a hip-hop twist, setting down a bass line amongst his falsetto vocals, ‘Cavalier’ is a gorgeous untouched phenomenon that has left every listener stunned. By adding in a heavenly brass interlude, it is fair to say that it becomes overwhelmingly hard to grasp the sheer composure and ethereal energy enunciated by this flawless musician.

And as always the best artists like to announce their new music and then tease us – the full album Post Tropical is not released until January but pre-order it now by clicking here. If the haunting atmospherics of ‘Cavalier’ transcend into the entire album then his 2014 tour dates are going to dissipate pretty rapidly.

This is music resisting definition and no words will justify this marvellous artist so all that remains is for you to hit play:
