It is from the mysterious Australian duo Flight Facilities with the addition of another beautiful Australian Micky Green.
Together they have made ‘Stand Still’ and I will be honest with you – I was unsure at first. It takes a while to get into this minimalist transient beat but it is definitely worth holding out for because it grows and grows and grows and eventually it becomes near on impossible to resist the light-hearted aura of Micky Green.
Charismatic whistling combines with a constant percussion to set the steps for an ambient climax of synth, electro and energetic alternating vocals courtesy of Green.
I adore the final minute of this track, as every notation becomes fused together the end product is immaculate. Clear cut, defined electro-pop trance.
