Bringing back the sun with the gorgeous hit ‘Swimming in 99’, this track embodies a gradual up tempo progression that is contaminated with that beautiful sound of summer.
This track opens Golden Suits self-titled debut LP and what an excellent introduction to the meticulous musical production from the former Department of Eagles member Fred Nicolaus. With a unique use of infectious percussion and totally heart-warming vocals, Nicolaus has formed a fresh and cathartic sound allowing every single listener to forget the darkness of winter and reminisce of that summer that simply went too fast.
The video reiterates this idea, as two watches are held side by side one past – one present, and in the background time flashes by.
