Beauty: Cape Cub – Swim
“If there’s something, show me where to go / And I will give myself to you”
This is Cape Cub and his single ‘Swim’.
I honestly do not know how to describe this. I have listened to it relentlessly and the innate compassion and eloquence from this piece of music is unbeatable.
There is something very sombre yet enticing about Cape Cub’s vocals. Uttering some of the most heart-felt lines going, his voice gradually blends into the intense note by note plucking of one beautifully melodic guitar.
Gradually a climax is reached where all executions of pain manifest and then burst into an outcry of devout sentiment which is just beyond consumptive.
